For two transformative decades, I have been a senior-level marketing professional at Reed Exhibitions, the world’s leading events’ organizer with a growing portfolio of 500 events in 41 countries. Recognized with many marketing excellence and conference leadership awards during my tenure at Reed, I am currently the director of marketing and conference for the International Vision Expo & Conference events in New York City and Las Vegas. These events rank 78th and 119th on the Trade Show News Network’s Top 250 list, respectively. As the consummate marketer, I have not only honed my ‘plate spinning’ skills from the traditional print world to the ever-changing digital arena but pushed my intellectually curious nature to complete the Content Marketing Institute’s certificate program as a complement to my B.A. in Business Management from Western Connecticut State University. Along with an expertise in strategic planning, creative design across all channels my role includes delivering optimization strategies to build social communities and expand brand engagement. As a proud data geek and info junkie with a specialization in database design, integration, and marketing analytics this makes my ability to turn data knowledge and customer insights into programs that drive lead generation, sponsorships and ROI for exhibitors, attendee and conferee acquisition and retention and partnerships with industry stakeholders. As the mother of two millennials, I'm also a natural mentor and actually thrive on the ability to interact and train young professionals in Reed’s marketing ranks.
