I’m a CMO and communications executive who loves the challenge of understanding and motivating audiences into action - whether the goal is to grow the business by attracting new customers, retaining current customers, or engaging employees in the business objectives. For me, it’s the thrill of strategic problem solving: knowing your audience, and then meeting their needs, where they are, in their language. I’m known for my creativity and challenging the status quo to continuously improve the customer experience, data and insight led decision making, reputation management and building high performing, highly engaged teams that deliver business outcomes. Building and coaching teams or individuals to their absolute potential is a constant source of pride. Throughout my career, I’ve also worked as a trusted business advisor to executive leadership teams to coach and craft strategic communications that drive employee engagement and commitment to the strategy. I value authenticity and I’m driven to work for leaders and companies that genuinely put people first and make decisions true to their purpose. For these companies, I will relentlessly do all I can to deliver to their priorities. I love being part of a team and naturally gravitate to teams looking to grow or transform. Curiosity has been the main driver of my 20+ years’ career, always taking the opportunities to learn new things. This has given me broad expertise across B2B and B2C marketing and communications activities including brand, content, storytelling, social media, media relations, digital marketing, sponsorships, events, and corporate communications. Some of my career highlights have included, launching a new ‘Before and After’ brand platform for QBE, improving brand awareness and exceeding B2C sales targets by 10%, engaging icare employees in a new vision and strategy through storytelling, supporting PwC employees to engage in the business strategy and new ways of working office moves, and successfully launching thought leadership to drive brand awareness at DHL.
