Kate has a depth of experience in all aspects of professional services firm management with a strong focus on organisational development. Kate's experience includes many years in Director level roles in People Development, Business Development and Corporate Social Responsibility functions. In these roles Kate's strength at both strategic and operational levels was regularly demonstrated in areas including partner recruitment and development, stakeholder management, branding and communications, culture and engagement, corporate engagement and team leadership and development. Kate is recognised as a leader within the legal profession and was instrumental in the development of the award winning Resilience@law program. Kate is regularly invited to speak at conferences on a range of issues including Culture and Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, Mental Health & Wellbeing and Talent Management within the profession. In recent years Kate has led the development of Reconciliation Action Plans at 2 major law firms and been actively involved in the BCA Business Indigenous Network and the Legal Profession Reconciliation Network which she continues to co-chair in 2019-2020. Throughout her career the impact of Kate's work, in collaboration with others in the legal profession and the public sector, has been recognised with various awards including an AHRI Award (Mental Health) ; WGEA EOC awards (gender equality); HR Awards - Best L&D Program; Lawyers' Weekly EOC and #1 ; 2 global re-branding awards; twice shortlisted for the NSW Premier's Award for Excellence and in 2020 MinterEllison was recognised as Chambers' Global D&I Firm of the Year.
