Chris O’Connell is the founder of Armada, a hard goods, outerwear, and apparel company aimed at skiers and is distributed in 44 countries. O’Connell was the Chief Brand Officer for Armada before it sold to Amer Sports in 2017. A commercial and editorial photographer, O’Connell’s photography amassed 100+ magazine covers and brought him longstanding partnerships with brands like Under Armour and Oakley. He is the first photographer to shoot a wireless sync 1/500th shutter speed flash morphed sequence. In 2016 Chris shot the first ever top to bottom half pipe run in VR/360 with Shaun White. He has produced, directed, and worked in camera capture and business development for PARTEON/Good Times Studio, a VR/360 company that specializes in intricate locations and camera movement.
