Berkeley Lights opto-nanofluidic platforms are enabling interactive biology at the cellular level and empowering scientists and researchers to study and interact with single cells in ways never before possible. Headquartered in Emeryville, California, Berkeley Lights is working with biopharma and biotech companies to facilitate drug discovery and cell line development, and with research institutes on single-cell annotation and genomics.

I recently earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of California, Irvine. During my undergraduate experience as a double major, I learned how to efficiently balance my time to navigate a high-pressure environment. This past year, I became proficient in standard molecular biology techniques to create a transgenic plant line for my Honors Thesis.
