Procore Technologies, Inc. provides cloud-based construction software to clients across the globe. Using its award-winning suite of project management tools, hundreds of thousands of registered Procore users manage all types of construction projects including industrial plants, office buildings, apartment complexes, university facilities, retail centers, and more.

A single blinking light. It was fifteen years ago and the beginning of Procore. As I would leave my tiny office, turn off the light, and look back, the blinking light on a private server reminded me that I had people counting on me (a small number at the time), and that I could make a difference. It was just me back then. Me and a crazy, obsessive idea that sticks with me today. I want to make really hard work easier. That’s fueled me these past years, and it’s what makes my everyday life as Procore’s CEO more than a title, but a mission.Today, 15 years later, my office is a bit larger, and I no longer look at blinking lights on a server. Instead I look to the future and what this company, filled with passionate, brilliant people, can do to make construction’s hard work easier. My focus is on helping to modernize an industry that has been unfairly labeled as tech-averse; supporting innovative leaders who are putting technology to work so they can create a landscape we can all be proud of.As Procore’s CEO, I may stand in front, but I believe my role is more than directing the company, sometimes it’s stepping in to fill a role (whether I know how to do it or not), sometimes it’s motivating the players, and very often, it’s making sure the entire team understands why we’re all here and where we’re going.Some may say I bleed orange. I do. I’m an obsessed, impassioned leader of a team filled with the best and brightest. And because of this team, we’re well on our way to doing something unimaginable by most, and only doable by those who choose to pursue excellence daily. That’s Procore.
