Since July 2016 Chief Human Resources Officer at Nordea, one of leading banks in northern Europe. The banking industry is undergoing a significant change/disruption and as one of the leaders in this industry we have opportunity to shape the future. I am therefore excited to be a part of the transformational journey Nordea has embarked upon. We will be a digital, agile, efficient and value based bank that is known and admired for our more than 30.000 people - as they - with their unique competencies and attitude - constantly raise the bar for how we can make a difference for our clients and for society at large. Working with people, their well-being and transformation has been a red thread in my life. I have held several executive positions in Mercuri Urval, SAP, Philips Lightning – always with focus on human resources and business transformation. I strongly believe that no business transformation is possible without we as human beings equally transform and grow – and this is how a company culture can become a key differentiator for business. My purpose is to inspire people to bring their best to and from work - every day. Nordea has around 11 million customers ranging from households to the biggest corporations and institutions in the Nordic region. As a large bank we have a responsibility towards society, and that’s why focusing on environmental, social and governance aspects is an important part of our daily work.
