An experienced Manufacturing Engineer working in regulated medical and military manufacturing environments consisting of low volume high product mix with batch and flow line assembly processes. Positions held over the years include Manufacturing Engineering Manager: (Nonin Medical) Led a cross functional team of Engineers and Technicians responsible for ensuring uninterrupted processing of Nonin Medicals complete line of Pulse and Reginal Oximeters and Sensors. My team is responsible for the development and validation of PCB and final functional test processes and all process and equipment validations per ISO13485. The team consists of Electrical, Mechanical and Bio-Medical Engineers. As the SME for many of the products, I was also responsible for the training and mentoring of new team members. Senior Manufacturing Engineer: (Nonin Medical) Provide production support for the assembly and testing of a range of products at Nonin Medical. Define processes and functional test fixtures supporting new product transitions from Product Development to Production. Lead continuous improvement efforts to improve product flow and improve inventory counts. Create and execute Process and fixture validations, IQ/OQ/PQ Member of multiple cross functional teams, responsible for the successful transition of multiple products from Design to Manufacturing meeting aggressive time lines and quality standards. Manufacturing Engineer: (CyberOptics) Provide production support for assembly and testing of optical sensors used by the semiconductor industry. Design Development Technician: (Rosemount Aerospace) provide test equipment support and test data analysis for capacitive pressure sensors used in mlitary and aerospace application Bench Technician: testing/troubleshooting and repairing tape drives, I have experience working with LabVIEW, Minitab, MSWord & Excel, Lean tools such as DMAIC, A3, 5S, pfmea, also perform time studies and line balancing. Create and execute Process and equipment Validation and Verification, perform statistical analysis. Trained to lead internal audits per ISO 13485, and current member of the Internal Audit Team at Nonin Medical. Undergraduate and Graduate degrees obtained while working full time in industry.
