I have 23 years of experience in the industry serving as national and regional counsel to hospital systems and health care facilities, health plans, technology companies, physicians groups, and a wide range of other health care-related organizations and entities. I provide advice with respect to the creation, receipt, maintenance and transmission of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA and HITECH privacy and security requirements, and have worked with a variety of clients on breach analysis and response. My practice also involves PPACA compliance and development of models of health care delivery and payment, including direct employer plan-provider contracting and implementation of various accountable care organization models.
