My practice concentrates in patent, intellectual property, high technology and complex commercial litigation, and arbitration. I have tried cases in federal and state courts, before the International Trade Commission, and before international arbitration tribunals. I have also appeared before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals where I argued and prevailed on an important issue relating to standing in patent cases. Between 2007-2011, I was Office Manging Partner of DLA Piper's Silicon Valley office. Between 2005-2010, I was co-Chair of DLA Piper's Patent Litigation Group for the US. I also spend time working in international pro bono projects. I completed a two year pro bono project writing an Access to Justice Legal Manual for Namibia between 2010-2012, participated in contract negotiation training in Kigali, Rwanda in 2014, and have recently been involved in Clinical Legal Education trainings in Myanmar (2014 and 2015). In May 2006, I was featured in California Lawyer magazine for pro bono work in East Palo Alto.
