I am a business lawyer turned industry/sector marketer and tech co-founder. My background includes representing Fortune 500 companies as a litigator and appellate lawyer before state and federal courts, as well as the US Supreme Court. I also co-founded a venture-funded tech company backed by match.com/IAC (NASDAQ: IACI). Having been passionate about innovation and part of the LA technology community since 2010, I now serve in a marketing role at DLA Piper co-managing marketing for its Global Life Sciences sector and offering regional support to its technology/emerging growth/venture capital practices in Los Angeles and San Diego. In this role, I help curate events and develop strategic marketing/business development activities. I also advise several companies and non-profits in the areas of pitch deck development, business model strategy, launch planning and execution, strategic partnerships, and fundraising.
