I am a Legal Director at DAC Beachcroft Dublin. I advise primarily on regulatory law, with particular specialisms in data protection and cyber risk and sports law. I advise clients across a variety of sectors on data protection and have a particular interest in data breach response. I advise professional associations, professionals and insurers on regulatory investigations, inquiries and prosecutions issues, including fitness to practise. I regularly advises sports organisations on both regulatory and commercial matters, including anti-doping, sponsorship and other commercial contracts and litigation and dispute resolution (including the Court of Arbitration for Sport). I have an in-depth knowledge of the Houses of the Oireachtas and the legislative process and advise clients on existing legislation and on influencing the legislative process, often assisting clients in drafting submissions to Oireachtas Committees and public bodies.
