I am the chief marketing officer at CarMax, the nation’s largest retailer of used vehicles. We were the original disrupter of the used car industry, and we're continuing to revolutionize car buying through technology focused innovations. It’s an exciting time to connect consumers with CarMax’s industry-leading customer experience.I oversee our marketing and product functions including product strategy, analytics and communication. Our team gets to work on challenging projects that directly drive business impact. For example, we are leveraging agile methodologies and aggressively innovating to improve our customers’ experience both online and in store.Prior to joining CarMax, I served as chief marketing officer for The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company from 2011 to 2014. I’ve also held marketing leadership positions at Cigna Healthcare Inc. and FedEx Corporation.My Specialty Areas: innovation and product development; Big Data, including enterprise analytics, database marketing, profit optimization analysis and customer insights; digital, mobile and social marketing strategy, communications and execution; brand development and management, including integration and merger; advertising, sponsorships, and affinity relationships; value proposition development and communication; and strategy development including corporate, business unit, regional, and marketing strategy.
