DevOps Engineer | Azure Cloud Architect | Senior Technical Leader | Ansible advocate I am a software professional that is focused on using DevOps methodologies and Cloud Technology to improve business results. I love leading and introducing teams to new technologies and new ways of working to get what the customer needs. In my current role I lead several teams that use Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies for CarMax Auto Finance. I am an advocate for Infrastructure as Code and use Ansible automation and RedHat Linux to provide a platform for our software. My past experience in FinTech includes leading technology teams for Wachovia Securities, software development in C# at hedge fund, and working for Thomson Financial In addition to the hands-on development and cloud expertise, I was a project manager and agile coach for CarMax. I provided agile and SAFe training to software teams, and mentored Scrum Masters and project managers on how to implement agile. I have also used kanban as a process improvement technique with teams to help improve their time to market. During my tenure as agile coach, CarMax has moved from having all waterfall teams to 50% agile teams.
