A skilled and highly effective Manager of internal and external service delivery, I can demonstrate an exceptional track-record of improving departmental performance, through working closely with my team to motivate and mentor, developing strong channels of communications with internal and external clients and positioning the department as a strategic partner to commercial operations. To this end, in my current role, I worked with the company CIO and Infrastructure Manager to turn the IT Department from a business cost centre to a revenue-generating operation. One of the reasons the team has been able to take on this additional commercial activity is because of the increased efficiency delivered through my implementation of the ITIL v3 Service Desk Tools and methodology. The increased accountability has improved individual staff performance whilst the work-flow tracking has reduced overall processing time and risk of error. Prior to my current role, I had well over a decade in previous service delivery environments, in the financial services sector. This earlier experience equipped me with an excellent understanding of service delivery in a highly-regulated, mission-critical environment.
