As a seasoned sustainability and ESG professional with over a decade of experience, I have a consistent record of achievement in driving impactful sustainability strategies and initiatives in the agriculture and telecommunications sectors. In my most recent role as the Regional Sustainable Development Manager for Africa and the Middle East at Corteva Agriscience, I developed and implemented a sustainability program covering over 30 countries and established key partnerships with stakeholders to empower smallholder farmers and led development of Corteva's global biodiversity strategy. Prior to that, as the Sustainability Manager at Safaricom PLC, I led the development of the company's purpose and ESG strategy, led delivery of annual sustainability and ESG report and collaborated with cross-functional teams to achieve SBTi validated climate targets and improve Safaricom's ESG ratings. With my excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, I am committed to creating a more sustainable future and driving positive impact at scale.
