Roku is the creator of a popular streaming platform for delivering entertainment to the TV. Roku streaming players and Roku Streaming Stick are sold through major retailers in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland. Roku is privately held and headquartered in Saratoga, Calif., U.S.

James brings over 13 years of Wall Street and Advisory experience to his Investor Relations and Corporate Development role. Most recently serving as Head of Investor Relations at Lending Club where he helped the company complete a $1 billion IPO. Prior to his role at Lending Club, he was a Managing Director and an investor relations advisor with The Blueshirt Group serving pre-IPO and publicly traded companies. Prior to Blueshirt, James was an Institutional Investor-rated sell-side equity analyst at Citigroup. His sector coverage included Business Services and Education where he consistently rated highly for stock picking and earnings estimates. He also spent five years on the Street’s Institutional Investor Top Ranked Internet research teams at Citigroup and Merrill Lynch. Prior to Wall Street, James worked in management consulting at KPMG and in Corporate Development at Internet and Financial Services startups. His roots are in engineering having spent three years as an engineer in the heavy equipment industry. He holds an MBA from UCLA, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
