Roku is the creator of a popular streaming platform for delivering entertainment to the TV. Roku streaming players and Roku Streaming Stick are sold through major retailers in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland. Roku is privately held and headquartered in Saratoga, Calif., U.S.

James brings over 20 years of Wall Street and corporate development experience to his Investor Relations role at Paycom (NYSE:PAYC), a cloud-based human capital management software company that helps businesses streamline employment processes, from recruitment to retirement. With a robust suite of products including payroll, time and labor management, talent acquisition, HR management and talent management, Paycom lowers labor costs, drives employee engagement and reduces compliance exposure. Prior to Paycom, he was Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Development at Roku (NASD:ROKU) where he helped raise over $500 million including the company’s highly successful IPO and several other fund raising programs. Prior to Roku, James served as Head of Investor Relations at Lending Club (NYSE: LC) where he helped to complete a $1 billion IPO and served as the lead contact for investors, analysts and key stakeholders. Prior to his investor relations roles, including working with The Blueshirt Group, James was an Institutional Investor-rated sell-side equity analyst at Citigroup. His sector coverage included Business Services and Education where he consistently rated highly for stock picking and earnings estimates. He also spent five years on the Street’s Institutional Investor Top Ranked Internet research teams at Citigroup and Merrill Lynch. Before his work on Wall Street, James was a strategy consultant at KPMG providing corporate development advice to Internet and Financial Services startups. His roots are in engineering having spent three years as an engineer in the heavy equipment industry. He holds an MBA from UCLA, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
