Retrophin is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of drugs for the treatment of catastrophic diseases that are debilitating and often life-threatening, and for which there are currently limited patient options.

Outcome aware. Purpose driven. I entered this industry twice, once when I got my first sales job right out of college and then again when I got my first hug from a patient who said, “Thank you! Your medicine may have just changed my life forever!” It was then that I fully realized my professional purpose – I love this business, and I am in it for the “patient hugs!” Since then, I’ve met many patients and each of their stories inspire me to choose to be my best self every day. I believe in living life with purpose, on purpose. I believe elite behavior is choosing to do what is necessary as opposed to what is comfortable; choosing to act intentionally as opposed to impulsively. I believe this so much that I wrote a book about it, Elite by Choice: How the choices we make every day can create the best version of ourselves. Formerly as the VP / Head of Marketing at Prometheus Therapeutics & Diagnostics and Millennium Labs, I built two marketing departments that managed 18 pharmaceutical and clinical diagnostic brands. In my 30 years in life sciences sales and marketing, I have led or contributed to teams that have launched 8 pharmaceutical and 9 clinical diagnostic solutions. I feel a great sense of pride thinking of the thousands of people our products have helped to live better lives in the areas of nephrology, urology, gastroenterology, hepatology, psychiatry, neurology, and oncology. Now, I help people with rare disease. I am dedicated to building a team of talented people who care, who raise the bar, who bring not just hope but solutions for people and their families living with rare disease.
