Transformational CFO with a strong strategic and operational perspective and experience, and currently serving as the CFO of The Beachbody Company (NYSE: BODY), the leading fitness, nutrition, and wellness platform serving millions of consumers. With over 20 years of experience with both start-up growth and global Fortune 500 companies in the technology, media, and consumer industries, he is passionate about driving shareholder value by linking strategy to operational actions. He helps companies with strategy formulation, and operationalizing their plans into successful outcomes, including revenue growth and cost transformations, while adhering to compliance matters. Marc joined $BODY shortly after its IPO and has since transformed the Finance function through automation and offshoring, implemented SOX and reduced cost by over 40%. Further, he has helped develop a strategic renewal plan that launched a new re-vamped digital offering while simultaneously turning the company cash flow positive. Marc steered the company to improve EBITDA and Capex by $125 million in 2022, raised $50 million in new debt capital and re-invigorated investor relations. He also serves as a business partner and strategic advisor to the Audit Committee where he drives the quarterly agenda, orchestrates meeting preparations and facilitates meeting discussions. Marc also presents at all Board meetings and participates in the Compensation Committee meetings. Prior to Beachbody, Marc was a Senior Partner at PwC, leading the Global TMT Deals practice, and the SF Bay Area Consulting business. In his 17 years as a consultant, Marc advised on over 100 deals with value exceeding $250 Billion. His clients included large Tech giants and private equity funds. Prior to PwC, he was a member of McKinsey’s Technology Accelerator practice. He also enjoys angel investing and have had the opportunity to co-found two start-ups, which he built from the ground up and sold. As an advocate of community services and volunteer for youth education, he sits on the Board of the Silicon Valley Education Foundation and leads its Innovation Committee, and is on the Board of the Silicon Valley International School. He has worked in venture philanthropy launching education and health focused initiatives and published a paper on the benefits of technology in education. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Management in Accounting and Finance from McGill University.
