Population Services International (PSI) is a global nonprofit organization focused on the encouragement of healthy behavior and affordability of health products. PSI was founded in 1970 to improve reproductive health using commercial marketing strategies and has expanded to work in over 50 countries in the areas of malaria, family planning, HIV, diarrhea, pneumonia and sanitation. PSI is headquartered in Washington, DC. A hallmark of PSI is a commitment to the principle that health services and products are most effective when they are accompanied by robust communications and distribution efforts that help ensure wide acceptance and proper use. PSI works in partnership with local governments, ministries of health and local organizations to create health solutions that are built to last.

Coming from a small island nation always negotiating its space in the world, I was able to see first-hand how economic development could impact lives, both positively and negatively. Because of this experience, I have devoted my life’s work to the kinds of initiatives that I believe best improve and change lives. With a keen eye on building authentic partnerships with communities, governments, and business, I stay grounded in impact. My deep, practical experiences in social impact, economic development, equity, sustainability, philanthropy, NGOs, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement center my thought leadership. Leading with humility and diplomacy has been my superpower in solving some of the most complex issues facing our world. I have especially enjoyed learning in 20+ countries and 100+ U.S. cities over my career. I am most energized by building a table where long-lasting impact can be achieved.
