Kate excels at building high performing teams by hiring, developing, and mentoring top performers. She has deep expertise in consumer experience, strategy, brand, design thinking, marketing research, analytics, CRM, product planning, and business development. For almost twenty years Kate has used her considerable marketing and executive experience to bring the “consumer voice” to the forefront in order to create and deliver experiences and solutions that delight consumers. A true consumer advocate, Kate has always believed that in order to drive change in an industry, it comes down to having the right people, the right technology, and a true commitment to being a change agent. Prior to joining IBM, Kate spent 3 years at Providence St. Joseph Health where she was part of a small team of disciple experts brought in to drive marketing innovation and change. Here she led marketing & consumer research, CRM, and analytics. In this role she was responsible for developing a data driven culture, providing the voice of the consumer, defining the ideal patient experience, and designing and implementing an intelligence platform.Before joining the healthcare industry, Kate spent fourteen years in technology at Microsoft and Motorola where her experiences cross audiences, geographies, industries, and encompass a full range of disciplines including business strategy, market research, product planning, campaign planning and measurement, business management, sales support, digital marketing, etc.
