P.F. Changs China Bistro, Inc. (P.F. Changs) owns and operates two restaurant concepts under the names P.F. Changs China Bistro (Bistro) and Pei Wei Asian Diner (Pei Wei). As of December 28, 2008, P.F. Chang's owned and operated 189 full service Bistro restaurants that featured a blend of traditional Chinese cuisine. The Companys restaurants offer flavored, culinary creations, prepared from ingredients, including herbs and spices imported directly from China. The menu features traditional Chinese offerings and dishes. Its menu is complemented by a full-service bar offering a selection of wines, specialty drinks, Asian beers, cappuccino and espresso. Additionally, two Bistro restaurant located in Hawaii are operated under a joint venture agreement. As of December 28, 2008, it owned and operated 159 quick casual Pei Wei restaurants.
Genaro Perez is a senior executive with experience in the technology, hospitality, retail, and non-profit industries. He has served in various leadership and consulting roles, and is currently working for CEC Entertainment, Peter Piper Pizza, as a VP of Marketing and Brand Strategy where he leads all marketing, culinary innovation, brand extension strategy and marketing communications. Previous to this role, Genaro led the brand marketing, corporate communications, and retail innovation strategies for P.F. Chang's globally During his tenure with P.F. Chang’s, the brand evolved to become a dominant player in Asian dining internationally, operating over 300 restaurants in more than 25 countries around the world, and in the U.S. retail segment with the brand P.F. Chang's Home Menu. Genaro's experience also includes several years with Brinker International where he served in multiple roles leading the brand efforts for the Chili's brand within Latin American, Middle East, Mexico, Asia, and South America regions, also overseeing the Hispanic Marketing efforts for Chili's U.S. Genaro has 20+ years of brand marketing, strategy, advertising, and public relations. Prior to Brinker International, Genaro worked for Nokia Mobile Phones as a Global Marketing Campaign Manager and in Mexico City for Nextel Communications during the exciting period of the aperture of the telecommunications industry in the country. Genaro has served in different board positions, the latest with Empower College Prep, a non-profit charter school in Arizona serving underprivileged children in central Phoenix where has was instrumental in setting up the fundraising strategies and pro-bono marketing and media partnerships with the school.
