My name is Jonathan White and I am a Mechanical Engineer living in the upstate NY area. I received my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University on January 26th 2012 and my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in May of 2010. I have various engineering and other job experiences that diversify my skills and set me apart from others. I am currently seeking new and exciting opportunities to broaden my horizons and experience as a Mechanical engineer. I am willing to relocate if necessary. My job experiences started for me as a young teenager working for the family businesses in the construction and food service industry. These jobs taught me the value of hard work and the importance for customer service and quality work. During my educational years I worked 30-40 hours per week as well as going to school. This time period taught me how to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities to effectively complete all tasks set in front of me. My professional engineering experience has added even more value in my project management, troubleshooting, and innovative skills. For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed being a problem solver. As a child I used to disassemble all of my parents gadgets to learn how they worked on the inside. To this day I still take a detail oriented approach. I am constantly seeking new ways to improve upon existing processes and machines as well as developing new and innovative technologies. I pride myself on being a goal oriented and focused individual who works hard to achieve success and solve any challenge put in front of me. I am an extremely fast learner who can adapt to any situation. I like to use a cross-functional team approach that ensures complete solutions to current technological challenges. Also, my extensive team leader experience and ability to interface with a diverse group of resources make me a value added contributor to any team experience.
