Edward S. Nadel is a member of Lowenstein Sandler’s Investment Management Group. Ed’s practice focuses on the structuring, formation and operation of private investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds, joint ventures and funds of funds. He regularly advises clients on all aspects critical to their fund business and operations, including legal, compliance and transactional issues arising under the Investment Advisers Act, the Investment Company Act and other federal securities laws, as well as significant ERISA, tax and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Ed served as the Director of the Alternative Investments Group at Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for the structuring and development of new products for the Americas region. Prior to that, Ed was a corporate associate with Cravath, Swaine & Moore. More recently, Ed served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Star Mountain Capital, LLC, a private equity firm focused on small business investing.
