Linden Lab was founded in 1999 by Philip Rosedale to create a revolutionary new form of shared 3D entertainment. The former CTO of RealNetworks, Philip pioneered the development of many of today's streaming media technologies, including RealVideo.

Over 15 years of experience in gaming and online communities, starting with my love and passion for gaming as a hobby and letting it fuel my desire to help create a space for others to have the same positive life experiences that it has given me. From the moment I joined my first Rhydin chatroom on AOL to MMORPGs and social media, streaming communities and forums, each one has brought a sense of belonging and a safe space to be one self. It was the ability to have that environment, and those life experiences where I made long lasting friendships, found the love of my life, and was able to discover who I am that has made me want to ensure others have that same opportunity. It is why I am so passionate about not just protecting all of the people who partake in the space offered to them, but doing what I can to keep improving it, and giving everyone the best experience possible. Having worked as a front line agent, for customer support, governance and fraud, I understand what it means to be the tank or shield for a company. I understand the frustrations that customers have, and the frustrations of an agent who just wants to help them. I have been able to apply my own personal experiences, and relate to a customers frustration, and think outside the box to try and turn a negative experience, into a positive one. I have since found myself further growing professionally by taking on a management path, allowing me to help other agents grow, and in return, having the opportunity to learn from them as well. I have been fortunate to have an amazing mentor and friend who taught me what I feel is one of the most important lessons, you can't lead a team who isn't willing to follow you. I strive every day to be the person my team wants to follow, by listening to them, teaching them, and empowering them. I am always happy to chat, or connect with anyone, we could discuss the various experiences one has in an online environment, our struggles or accomplishments in dealing with fraud or governance, or even just casually talk about the latest game to come onto the market.
