Network Manager

Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research is an Abu Dhabi Government initiative owned solely by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The university was inaugurated in February 2007 and opened its interim campus in Abu Dhabi in October 2008 to add to the campus in Sharjah (formerly Etisalat University College). The university's permanent Abu Dhabi campus is currently being developed. The Sharjah branch campus has a very proud 18-year history and in February 2008 was merged with the Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research to form the foundation of Khalifa University.

Manager of Network Operations and has been with Ankabut since March 2009, his role is to work with the senior management to define the strategy, objectives, resources and budget, timelines and project plan for the implementation of ICT infrastructure related projects, also he is Responsible for the integrity and security of the Ankabut network and its infrastructure. Before joining the Network, he served in the Jordanian NREN (JUNet)-Amman as Network Manager for four years and as Senior Network Engineer in the Hashemite University-Zarqaa for three years. Mohammad has extensive experience and training in Internet protocols, service provider services and technologies , ICT security and ICT service management. I hold my Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, with 14+ years experience in managing Enterprise and supporting service provider MPLS networks, Virtualized data centers, cloud computing, ICT infrastructure, Information security, Unified communications, ICT process design and IT Service Management. Have Extensive knowledge of mutli-vendor environments and interoperability using open standards. Education focuses heavily on ICT technologies, such as MPLS, QoS, Routing and Switching, Virtualization, Information security, Multicasting protocols.
