Currently working as an Senior Architect for a leading Architecture firm in the US, Ms. Smita is also researching ‘Retrofitting built environments to be green and energy efficient’ at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Pune, India. and has seven years of architectural firm experience with a clear understanding of the design, execution and service delivery process. Ms. Smita is skilled on applying best sustainable practices guidelines and the building certification process under the U.S. and India Green Building Council’s various LEED Rating Systems. Her skills and proficiencies include AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch Up, Ecotect, Revit Architecture, V-ray, Rhinoceros, Microsoft office, Hand sketching, LEED NC, and LEED EBOM.
