I’m a registered patent attorney with nearly a decade of experience representing clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups on strategic patent portfolio development, with emphasis on patent prosecution in mechanical, medical device, and chemical related technologies. Leveraging a decade of experience as a chemical engineer & Six Sigma Black Belt (in the coated paper, plastics, and ceiling tile industries), I now work with clients to acquire patents for new technology, while also performing due diligence investigations, freedom-to-operate studies, and non-infringement/invalidity opinions. No matter what type of matter I work on, my goals are always the same — to maximize patent protection of clients' innovations based on a strategy that is commensurate with their commercial objectives, while also protecting their businesses from claims of infringement.
