He is a member of the Board of Directors at Viacom Corporation, the American Museum of Natural History, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York Law School, The Posse Foundation, CodeNow, the Intrepid Museum, and Phillips Charitable Organizations.Phillips graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a BS Computer Science degree. He earned his MBA from Hampton University, a JD from New York Law School and is a member of the Georgia State Bar and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.Before his business career, he served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps with the 10th Marines in Camp Lejeune.
