Heather is Owner, Partner, and Co-Founder of Humanscale, the global leader in office and healthcare ergonomics, and has more than 30 years of experience in establishing and managing a major sales organization. Heather is skilled in business operations and creating programs that are the foundation of the company, such as Humanscale’s Global Healthcare Division, Global Consulting Division, Customer Service Department, Architecture & Design Division, Global Account Division, Global IT Distribution, Dealer Distribution, Recruitment, and Humanscale University, the company’s training and career development arm. In addition to Humanscale, Heather is a member of the Leading by Design Research Project, and the Hoover Council. She is on the advisory board for Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo, and The Caritas Project. She was also the first chairperson of the Scientific Advisory Committee for Cornell University’s Atkinson Center for Sustainable Futures. Out of the office, Heather is an avid environmentalist and animal advocate, supporting the World Wildlife Foundation as well as many local shelters and non-profit organizations. Heather’s passion and dedication is behind why Humanscale designs for the environment and why their products use fewer parts and more recyclable materials – to aim for an overall net positive impact on the planet. For Heather, this goal of becoming net positive requires a commitment to looking at every aspect of Humanscale’s operations and supply chain.
