Stéphane is an electrical engineer with 20 years of experience in the metallurgical and industrial fields. He started his career as a systems and process control plant engineer in the pulp and paper industry and has since worked on multiple projects from the study stages to the commissioning and start-ups of the facilities. His experience in aluminum, nickel, iron and TiO2 includes assignments in the Quebec northern territories, Labrador, Columbia, Australia, Malaysia and many more. Stéphane is considered as a megaproject execution specialist and has successfully played a wide range of roles in project management, project setup, value engineering center leadership, scheduling, cost control, risk analysis, satellite office organization, development and implementation of control systems, construction, commissioning, start-ups and plant maintenance work. Stéphane is currently Global Director - Control and Automation at Hatch and responsible for a team of approximately 450 people located across the globe. He is also the General Manager of Hatch's Global Delivery Center in Montreal.
