I'm a graduate from the UBC Geological Engineering program, specializing in Geotechnical based work. I have a passion to work on sustainable energy and infrastructure projects to develop our world for tomorrow and beyond. I started my career in October of 2012 working for Duncan Wyllie of Wyllie and Norrish Rock Engineers and was soon employed by his partner, Chris Mah of CM Rock Engineering. I have worked on various local contract jobs in Vancouver for Mr. Duncan Wyllie, including: slope stability design, retaining wall design and rock fall protection design. I was hired as Project Engineer for Mr. Chris Mah, I began work in Pointe du Bois, Manitoba on a spillway expansion project on the Pointe du Bois Hydroelectric Dam for almost 6 months. My responsibilities included inspections of vertical rock walls in order to scale and stabilize sections of the spillway walls. My next major project began in July 2012 at the Forrest Kerr camp in northern BC to begin the McLymont Creek Hydro-electrical project. The project consists of a drilling and blasting operation to excavate a 2.8 km tunnel as one of the deepest power tunnels in Canada. I'm currently working for Hatch Ltd within the Geotechnical department and regularly work concurrently with the Tunnels group for hydroelectric tunnels within North America.
