What I ask myself every day at work: "In my role, how can I contribute to a more patient-centered atmosphere?" Every role in healthcare, in some way or other, has an effect on our primary purpose: the patient. With all the uncertainties ahead, we are going to need strong, compassionate, and well-rounded individuals taking the reigns to lead our nation in becoming the healthiest nation in the world. I am so grateful that I have chosen to serve in such a rewarding industry. In whatever way I can, I will work hard to ensure the patient is never forgotten.
