I have over three decades of global business experience and have held significant executive leadership roles in multinational Fortune 500 companies. I have led major consumer branded companies through periods of rapid growth, world crises and secular decline – while delivering sustainable growth, strong profitability and increasing shareholder value. A transformational business leader who possesses a strong strategic and business acumen backed by real-world experience in driving growth and orchestrating turnarounds. I have the ability to build relationships and partner with the Board, CEO and others to create and implement strategies that deliver transformative outcomes. As the former Chief Financial Officer of Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG), I was responsible for delivering the overall financial performance and shareholder value for Harley-Davidson’s global businesses. This included ensuring both short and long-term revenue growth, enterprise profitability, and earnings predictability for the $5 billion Motor Company (Motorcycles, Parts & Accessories, and General Merchandise), and delivering best-in-class profitability and return on equity for the $7 billion (assets) Financial Services segment. I have vast knowledge of evolving and growing brands, international business expansion, global manufacturing, supply chain optimization and new product development for both consumables and highly engineered products. I am a seasoned financial expert with deep experience in financial services businesses, new business development, capital markets, enterprise risk management, investor relations, information technology, global tax & tariff complexities, and corporate governance. In addition to my executive management experience, I have significant experience working with corporate Boards. In addition to working closely with Harley-Davidson’s Board, I have served as a director and financial expert on two other Boards. First, I served on the Board of AutoTrader Group, the world’s largest digital automotive marketplace (AutoTrader.com & Kelley Blue Book) and a leading provider of marketing and software solutions to automotive dealers. Next, I served on the Board of Exide Technologies, a global producer and recycler of batteries. On both Boards, I served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
