Alex is Country Manager for Impossible Foods Aotearoa New Zealand & South Pacific. He is passionate around growing food technology companies and has founding positions in NewFish and LILO Desserts. Alex chairs Future Food Aotearoa, a not-for-profit movement driving advancement in New Zealand's foodtech ecosystem, and sits on the Te Hono and MPI F&B ITP steering committees. Alex is a member of Class 15 at THNK School Amsterdam and previously completed a dual MBA at Tsinghua University-MIT on Rotary Ambassadorial and Chinese Government Scholarship. He helped found the New Zealand Business Roundtable in China, was a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum, is an AGMARDT Leadership Scholar, and advises New Zealand Government food policy initiatives.
