Detail oriented and extremely passionate about solving problems with creative elegant solutions while striving to exceed customer expectations is the core of who I am. Architecting solutions that make the impossible possible is why I chose the career path of Engineering when I started school. Community and Team are extremely important to me. I strive to create an environment where open communication, creative challenges and mentorship allow every team member to rise to their full potential. IT experience in both hardware and software helps me to have a more in-depth appreciation and understanding for scalability, security and uptime when designing a solution. Problems do not get solved by waiting for someone else to come to you. My career has had me regularly working with all groups and levels of staff inside and outside of the organization. These range from Sales Managers to Marketing Reps, Engineering Directors to Customer Service Specialists or Accountants. Talking to the CEO or other Executive staff members comes just as naturally as talking to the Technical Team, Vendor or Customer. During my career as a developer and software architect I have grown fond of both short term rapid development and thorough long cycle product evolutions. My expertise has been leveraged to create International voting systems spanning multiple devices that collect ballots across vendors to localized web presences and desktop applications. Designing complex systems that integrate disparate platforms to working with the business channel to understand and realize requirements are all in a normal days’ work. Every challenge leads to a new solution and opportunity that may be leveraged to improve the efficiency and time to deliver on the next business opportunity that resides right around the corner.
