Marketing Leader I am a strategic thinker with hands on experience driving growth for emerging technology brands. I have embraced my techie side (an MIT-Sloan grad) while marketing complex products to geeks, but also enjoy the creative challenge of designing and executing fresh, innovative campaigns. My greatest successes have come from rebuilding struggling or nascent marketing teams and transforming them into high-performing growth engines. Results: - Managed marketing team at Ipswitch through a period of hypergrowth from $6M to $20M in less than three years. - Revamped messaging and positioning for TwinStrata prior to its sale to EMC - Restructured marketing team at Experian Data Quality, supporting 40%+ annualized revenue growth. Startup advisor and mentor I have been active in the Boston startup community including guest lecturing at the MIT-Portugal/eTeam program and judging business plans for the MIT $100K business plan competition. I am also currently advising Signkidsup.com and MeshApp. B2B marketing speaker, blogger and podcaster I’ve contributed to marketing blogs and spoken at marketing and technology industry events on topics including: marketing strategy, agile marketing, product marketing, content marketing, demand generation, marketing event management, marketing operations, open source software marketing, inbound marketing, and social media marketing. Community My professional community involvement includes work as an organizer of the Any Excuse CMO community and Boston Agile Marketing meetup. In my “spare” time I’ve been very active in my local youth soccer program (Arlington Soccer Club) as a board member, coach and webmaster.
