Shawna is passionate about development effectiveness, and leverages her skillsets in utilization-focused analysis, facilitation, strategic planning, organizational development, change management and innovative frameworks to work with her clients to unlock barriers and impact at scale. Key areas of expertise include: Strategy Development & Facilitation– designing and implementing highly participatory, inclusive, and impactful strategic planning processes for international development organisations across all sectors Stakeholder Engagement and Analysis – expertise in stakeholder engagement, mixed-method and accessible consultation design and analysis, and stakeholder communications to build buy-in and ownership to a strategy development process Organizational Development and Effectiveness– understanding key needs through organizational assessments and diagnostics, organizational design, and co-creating a desired future and pathways to achieve that future Evaluations & Learning – designing utilization-focused evaluations for the purposes of learning and decision-making in fit-for-purpose strategy refreshes, including feminist approaches to evaluation and learning workshops (see my latest blog about this here) Theory of Change and Results-based Management – enabling clients to revisit theories of change, and set and define clear intended outcomes and indicators as well as supportive performance systems (e.g. results frameworks, logic models, dashboards, etc.) Operating Model and Structure – consulting on restructuring exercises, underpinned by clear and unique operating model designs to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness Change Management and Mediation – expertise in effectively managing change, and weaving change management and mediation principles into strategic planning processes that help to build consensus in highly complex organisations and multi-stakeholder structures
