At McKinsey & Company, which I joined in 2008, we call it Thought Leadership and measure ourselves through the impact we deliver for clients and other key audiences. In both cases the keys to success include building great teams, creating compelling content with deep analysis and, these days, leveraging cutting-edge digital design. I especially follow trends in media, economics, technology, global issues and politics.
