I like to be genuine, so what you’ll find here are some lighthearted highlights of how my career has allowed me to craft a unique and valuable talent stack. You'll also see how committed I am to continually evolving as a leader and coaching those around me so they can flourish. I'm passionate about the art of leadership and creating a team comprised of the best talent in our industry. That passion inspired me to become a Certified Executive Coach, and I relish the opportunity to share and apply what I've learned with others. My management style is focused on caring personally, and challenging directly. Experience has taught me time and time again that when people know you have their best interests at heart and empower them, they can make amazing things happen. I'm relentless about creating an environment for people where they can continually evolve into the best version of themselves, and express it in their personal lives and careers. I've been fortunate that my career has been filled with a continuous cycle of identifying problems, finding creative solutions, and most importantly following them through to successful execution by leading great people. I've used this process to bring millions of additional dollars to the bottom lines of not just our own company, but those of our vendor and retail partners as well, and I've had a whole lot of fun doing it. I've driven a truck, gone full "geek squad", led an insane number of teams, and now talk in billions. I began my career as a Delivery Driver where I learned the importance of hard work and incredible customer service. I've progressed through titles of Manager, Director, VP, SVP and Executive VP. I’ve spent time on IT system conversions where I learned the technical inner workings of SAP, and how to improve the performance of internationally diverse teams. I've led the integration of acquisitions where I developed the ability to guide other executives and manage strong personalities under pressure. I now lead an incredibly talented Merchandising team that is responsible for developing mutually beneficial programs and solutions for our vendor and retail partners across the US and Canada. I'm a pragmatic, diversely talented, authentic leader that doesn't take himself too seriously. Let's connect and do great things together.
