Anthony Bovasso is a full-stack engineer and leader with over 20 years of experience. He is currently Sr. Director of Engineering at Code and Theory where he develops and oversees product engineering efforts for some of the world's most popular brands. His work at Code and Theory spans across products for New York State Senate, US Chamber of Commerce, Shirley Ryan Abilitylab, The Truth, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Brown-Forman’s Woodford Reserve & Finlandia. He began his career as Lead developer for the NHL's New Jersey Devils where he built and oversaw all web properties, including website experience and Group Sales Ticketing e-commerce platform. Anthony later joined Funny Garbage and Hot Studio, interactive agencies in New York City, where he led projects for clients such as US Weekly Magazine, School of Visual Arts, Smithsonian, Nickjr.com, ABCNews and the United Nations. Just prior to joining Code and Theory, Anthony was a member of the 2012 class of TechStars, a startup accelerator in New York City, where he and team created Smallknot. Smallknot is a crowd-funding platform that let’s users invest in the small businesses in their community in exchange for goods, services, and special perks.
