Marketing professional with 10+ years' experience building and managing marketing teams to successfully drive pipeline and marketing contribution. I started my career in industrial engineering, which gave me a fundamental understanding of analytical problem solving that later on would become the fundamental way in which I approach marketing and business challenges. My time at P&G enabled me to apply my skills to support sales forecasting and marketing budget optimizations for all P&G brands sold in the Andean region; including Crest, Oral-B, Gillette, Pampers, Pantene, and several other billion-dollar brands. After my master's degree in business I pivoted to growth marketing roles. These took place at small, mid-size, and large companies looking to grow their businesses by acquiring new customers both in B2C and B2B segments. I had the opportunity to both build and lead several marketing teams over time in order to achieve millions of dollars in bookings and pipeline generated for all segments of the businesses I supported. More specifically, I have led teams and agencies involved with digital and non-digital marketing channels such as paid search, display advertising, broadcast, content syndication, webinars, trade shows, social media, and outdoor advertising. I've managed effective marketing campaigns both from a creative and a media standpoint. I also had the pleasure to lead teams involved in field marketing activities and channel marketing programs to drive leads and revenue via channel partners. After several years focused on my career, I decided to take a sabbatical. I needed to realign my priorities and focus my time and energy on my family, my hobbies, and my mental and physical health. During that year, my wife and I decided to move to Germany to be closer to our family in Europe. After my sabbatical, I joined Secureworks to lead their global efforts to improve brand awareness, consideration, and perception. We launched a large-scale brand campaign that supported the company's goals and branding aspirations. Less than a year later, I was promoted to lead Secureworks' Global Campaigns and Marketing Analytics function, to focus on our demand generation efforts and drive data-driven performance across regions.
