I am a technology agnostic and believe that the right solution is the one that combines the skills and talents of your people with the functional technology you already own with new capabilities you need today. Technology evolves more quickly than any one person can keep up. I have always taken a very pragmatic approach to the creation of technological solutions. When I needed to understand where database or commerce architecture were going, I did the research of what is happening today and tried to predict where things were headed. Things change. The challenge for any technologist is that as soon as you come to a conclusion, the answers become obsolete. So, you have to keep challenging your conclusions, assumptions and beliefs. From the days of mainframe computers, to client server technology, to cloud apps and now headless API services, the landscape changes and so your solutions have to evolve.
