When Burgess & Niple was established in 1912, the science of water management was in its infancy. Roads were for horses and carriages. And nobody had heard of environmental assessment. Through all of the changes in the past century, B&N gained first-hand experience and a reputation for high quality work along the way. We have designed roads, buildings, dams, tunnels, bridges, sewers, and hydroelectric power plants. We inspect, survey, study, develop and plan. We have pioneered many techniques, including breakthroughs in water treatment and new approaches to bridge inspection. As technology develops, we continue to work on the leading edge, always seeking innovative and cost effective solutions.

Mr. Perfater joined Burgess & Niple in 1995 as a Civil Engineer and is District Director of B&N’s Orlando office. His experience includes project management roadway design, bridge and structure inspection, site development design, as well as waterline, sanitary sewer and storm sewer design. Mr. Perfater also has experience with reinforced concrete design and preparation of construction and right of way plans, conceptual and preliminary design reports, water storage tank evaluations, construction supervision and shop drawing reviews. Mr. Perfater is a member of the Florida Engineering Society, active on the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers (FICE) Transportation Committee and the FICE Local Agency Subcommittee and currently serves as Vice President of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Society of Highway Engineers.
