When Burgess & Niple was established in 1912, the science of water management was in its infancy. Roads were for horses and carriages. And nobody had heard of environmental assessment. Through all of the changes in the past century, B&N gained first-hand experience and a reputation for high quality work along the way. We have designed roads, buildings, dams, tunnels, bridges, sewers, and hydroelectric power plants. We inspect, survey, study, develop and plan. We have pioneered many techniques, including breakthroughs in water treatment and new approaches to bridge inspection.
