Rory Byrne is the Executive Vice President of Business Development at Billtrust, the leader in payment cycle management solutions to accelerate invoice-to-cash. Rory has over 20 years’ experience in enterprise software sales, partner strategy and business development. At Billtrust, he is responsible for developing and executing on all aspects of business development, partner strategy, and M&A. Prior to joining Billtrust, Rory was the SVP, Sales Engagement at Lexmark Enterprise Software, leading the sales engagement between the hardware and software divisions of Lexmark. Prior to the acquisition of Kofax by Lexmark, Rory led the Channel Strategy, OEM Sales, and Global Strategic Partner teams at Kofax, managing Kofax’s strategic and channel partners, including the 650+ global channel partner ecosystem. He joined Kofax via its 2013 acquisition of Kapow Software, where he was Vice President of Business Development, responsible for global channels and alliances, US public sector sales, and professional services. Before joining Kapow, Rory was Director of Corporate Development at Yahoo! where he was part of the M&A team responsible for acquisition integration. Prior to Yahoo!, Rory held a number of senior management and executive positions in business development in a variety of enterprise software companies, including Hyperion, Brio, and Altitude Software. Before joining Altitude, Rory was the Director of Interchange Pricing Strategy at Visa USA. Rory is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin, and qualified as a Barrister-at-Law in Ireland. He also holds an MBA from Santa Clara University, California.
