Boys and Girls Club is a non profit enhancing and developing young people.

Building relationships is a strength intertwined in every step of my career. When you have established relationships based on trust and integrity you accelerate and build strong foundations. My success through the years has been based on building those relationships with coworkers and vendors. These same principles have held true whether it was the marine business, dock products business or the automotive business. Training and development are accelerated when you have established those relationships. It is easier to develop a cohesive group of employees through relationship building that enjoy working together. My career has encompassed a number of different roles and levels of responsibility. I have the ability to interact with a very diverse group of individuals from sales, service, engineering, marketing and manufacturing. I had a VP I worked for early in my career who told us “You never stay the same so if you don’t do something to improve yourself you must be moving backwards”. I have continued to learn and develop through the years a very broad diversification. My career began repairing engines, providing service support for a dealer network, engineering design and system integration for a boat manufacturer. I developed manuals and technical data for training and operations development. I developed a business model that incorporated providing nationwide service support for national accounts for a manufactured product. After spending a number of years developing my skillset working directly for manufacturers my career was directed back to retail. This was a different challenge I undertook and was rewarded with a new perspective of business because it was my first automotive experience. The product was different but the basic principles of business being all about people and relationships has not changed through the years. I have enjoyed the oversight and decision making that goes with working with multiple franchises and personnel.
