Zipwhip pioneered the concept of utilizing the cloud to enable existing mobile, landline, and toll free numbers to send and receive texts from any connected desktop, tablet or smartphone. Additionally, Zipwhip offers a carrier-grade texting platform to help mobile and landline operators modernize the text messaging medium. Our technology introduces trailblazing functionality while holding true to the distinct culture of texting that consumers have grown to love. Zipwhip cloud texting powers over 18M existing wireless and fixed line phone numbers.
- REMOTE-ONLY - Long standing history of learning and using new technologies, tools, frameworks. As a technology professional I've worked with a multitude of different technologies and systems spanning over a decade. At Zipwhip Inc. I created the original docker container foundation, which resulted in an ability to easily roll-out multiple environments, and scale services quickly. For five years prior, I helped build data science oriented startup Revolution Analytics, which resulted in an acquisition by Microsoft Corp in April 2015. (goo.gl/oqhvng) I have over ten years experience with several desktop and server Linux distributions as well as MacOS. I’ve delivered short presentations on topics such as the ZFS file system, IPv6 networking and the Dvorak Keyboard Layout. I have expert level proficiency in a variety of technical areas. My attention to detail is looked up to by current and former colleagues. I have great troubleshooting skills and an ability to isolate and/or resolve issues between unrelated systems, tools and processes. I strive to be approachable and personable in my daily interactions with co-workers that are located around the world. As a technical leader I’m always researching and experimenting with primarily the latest open source and cloud native technologies.
