SAIL Capital was selected by the US Department of Commerce to co-lead with Deutsche Bank the US Trade Mission on Clean Energy to Germany in November 2012 and the US Trade Mission on Impact and Sustainable Investment to Europe in September and October 2013. In addition, we returned to Europe in October 2014 as participants in the US Trade Mission on Impact and Sustainable Investment in Zurich, Amsterdam, and London I also participate in the Australian American Leadership Dialogue. I am a Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Cleantech Open, the world's largest accelerator of cleantech companies, based in Silicon Valley but now operating in a number of other countries in partnership with the United Nations. In 2015 I was a guest speaker at the Yale University School of Management and in 2016 was a participant in the first Yale Sustainability Leadership Forum.
