Sajan Pillai is CEO of UST Global. A farsighted leader and an innovation agent, he has an inimitable view of how technology can change the world. His zealous focus on world-class customer experience and transforming the world has earned him laurels and he continues to seek avenues to make a difference to society. His vision has made him a trusted partner to the leaders of Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, Greece, Rwanda, Latin America, Russia and Kazakhstan and he is in discussions with many to establish digital and technology centers in their countries. With a rich background in information technology, Sajan has held several senior management positions in the software industry. He also architected and managed large software systems for MCI Telecommunications, US. Sajan holds patents in Internet Computing and Data Systems. His inspiring leadership has seen UST Global growing significantly and he is today leading the organization into the digital era. He led the company’s founding team in 1999. From 20 employees back then, there are more than 15,000 employees today, operating in 21 countries across North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe. Sajan’s industry recognition includes being chosen as one of the elite 100 CEO Leaders in STEM by STEMconnector®, a Diversified Search company, a consortium of companies, nonprofit associations and professional societies. He has also been featured in 'Leaders'​ magazine. As Chairman of the Diversity Committee at STEMconnector, Sajan introduced 'Step IT Up America'​ to train and hire 5,000 women in the field of Information Technology. He has been featured in Reuters and interviewed by 'The Washington Post' for his views on technology and industry trends. Sajan holds an engineering degree from College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Science, technology, community and the arts inspire him. He lives in Orange County, California, with his family.
